Where History Meets Modern Events

Woolmers Estate is one of Northern Tasmania’s most distinctive event venues. A UNESCO World Heritage Site established in 1817, the estate combines heritage grounds, modern conference facilities and on-site accommodation, all 20 minutes from Launceston and Launceston Airport.

The Nigel Peck Centre, purpose-built in 2018, houses multiple event spaces ranging from a 12-seat boardroom to a 220-capacity gallery, each with views across the heritage precinct and National Rose Garden. A state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, licensed bar, outdoor entertainment courtyard and free parking for up to 400 vehicles mean your event can be as intimate or expansive as you need.

Whether you’re planning a corporate conference, government meeting, product launch, exhibition, gala dinner or private celebration, Woolmers Estate offers something no standard conference centre can: 13 hectares of heritage grounds, 18 original buildings dating from the 1820s, and the National Rose Garden as your backdrop.

Past guests include the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, who are regular visitors to the estate.
